Donations
Financial donations
We gratefully accept financial donations from our generous community to help us in our work. The families who seek our help rely on the generous donations of the community to purchase food, petrol or clothing.
Food , petrol or gift vouchers in any denominations are also gratefully accepted as we can pass these on to our families so they may purchase their preferred items as they need them.
As our families leave us to move into secure long term accommodation, household furniture is often required and a wish list will be posted on our website below. Our storage space for donated goods is limited, but our fundraising account takes up no space and we can purchase what's needed, when it's needed. Because we don't disclose our location, it's the easiest way you can help.
As a registered charity and deductible gift recipient, you can be sure the money we receive is spent helping our clients.
Donating items
When we have an immediate need, or storage space available, we will advertise here and gratefully accept new, as-new, and handmade items.
Fundraising
Each year we hold a Golf Day and Charity Auction, which is the major fundraiser we run ourselves with the help of volunteers and donors in the community. We're also fortunate that individuals, groups and businesses in the community hold fundraising events on our behalf. If you'd like to hold a morning tea, sausage sizzle or larger event for us, we'd love to hear from you. See our Events page for details of upcoming fundraisers.
Bequests
Leaving a gift to South West Refuge in your will means we can together continue to support vulnerable women and children who are at risk of or experiencing family and domestic violence.
Your legacy - helping to keep women and children safe so they are able to rebuild their lives, one step at a time.

Support our Sponsors
We're all in this together, that's what makes our community great. We couldn't do what we do without the generous support of our community, and in return we support and promote our sponsors to the best of our ability. Check out the Our Helpers page, and support the local businesses who have our backs.
